Foxtrot

We stopped in to pick up some goods from local producers without needing to make lengthy trips out from the city center and avoid overly touristy shops. There was a nice selection of local coffees, beverages, and snacks - enough for us to be able to pick out a few things and appreciate the time saved. The main drawback we experienced was how long the line ended up being to checkout because of all the coffee and breakfast orders that were being placed before we could reach the counter just to pay for our items. In DC, there are self-checkout options that would be really useful for this location to help split up the line into people who are ordering from the cafe and those who are just shopping in the market.

Been a regular here and this place is fantastic with the market and indoor/outdoor seating. The new staff here in the past week has been absolutely terrible. Not cleaning up the areas, rude to customers and just poor service in general. Sucks to see the new staff hired is pathetic.

Almost every time Ive been to this particular Foxtrot the employees seem so miserable. After reading some other reviews it seems Im not alone in thinking that! Ive worked in customer service, its not difficult to give a smile and ask how a person is doing. With the exception of ONE lady here one time, no employee here had ever smiled or been kind or helpful. The service is also crazy slow. I waited over 10 minutes for a smoothie and there were no people in line ahead of me. I know they get a lot of online orders, but I think they could do better with their customers overall in store. I also had a latte once here that was very bitter and havent gotten coffee here since. Their food and smoothies are really good, but a bit steep in price. If you can avoid this Foxtrot and go to another location, I would! Starbucks is also on my way to work, I think Ill stick to that from now on, which is unfortunate because Id rather support smaller chains!
