I was initially nervous about wearing a wedding dress (for the longest time, I joked Id get married in a purple jumpsuit!). It was only when I went to BHLDN that I knew this was the right move. The whole staff couldnt have been kinder, more supportive, and helpful. This is the only place I would have felt comfortable getting my wedding dress. I ended up having a great time playing dress-up for the day and loved my final look!

The positives: beautiful space, easy to get to and schedule, approachable and a decent selection! Everyone was absolutely kind. The negatives: my consultant was absolutely lovely, but I didnt feel like she had all the facts I was looking for, for example I asked if the train on one of them was a cathedral or a chapel and she didnt know. Other than that though, she was overall good. The gowns themselves are beautiful, but I found some of them not made from quality material, so when I tried them on it felt SO hot. The lighting in there is also quite questionable and made everything look worse than it was-it would be a MAJOR improvement if they got some more natural light in. I was lured in by the pricing and quick turn around of these gowns, but then reality hit-the dress I like the most I would have to do extreme tailoring to get it right-shorten a hem, shorten the torso, add cups, close the split in a skirt, shorten straps, take in the waist several inches. My consultant said it would probably be a pricy tailor. I ended up getting a dress from another store that is made to all my measurements and is more expensive, but I likely wont have to get much if any tailoring. Its very possible that this more expensive gown is going to end up being cheaper than a BHLDN gown after alterations.

Amazing experience I felt valued, special and taken care of. I attended alone because my friends, and sister in law are out of state, but they allowed me to FaceTime and take pictures. I found the dress I liked online but it was available to try, along with other dresses. IN LOVE !!!! I said YES !!!! The dress I purchased was under budget and simply beautiful. Classy, a little vintage and exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase. Julia was simply wonderful and seemed as excited as me. She felt like a friend. Sparking wine and just good f$&king customer service !!!!! Over the moon in love with my dress and the service . Thank you Anthropologie And Ill see you guys soon to go over accessories Thank you for making my appointment special and seamless.
