They asked for a lot to open an account with the bank. They will question you about deposits that are larger than 5,000, possibly put on hold and freeze your account to make sure the money isn't "SUSPECT". I came here a few years ago and they asked me for drivers license, social security card and proof of address in the form of a bill, rent receipt, morgage receipt or a phone bill. What if you live with your parents, make online payments for all bills and don't own a home or have a car note. They didn't release my debit card because I wasn't able to make proof of address so I ended up closing the account.

It's nice to be in a bank with such great customer service and the feel of timeless interactions. There are too many banking institutions that are being taken over by machines and bank tellers that do not have basic math skills or common sense.

Absolutely the worst bank I have ever done business with. At the beginning of my loan, I ask to setup automatic payment. They advise me that the only way I can setup auto pay is by completing a form and sending it in with a voided check via snail mail. I do so and somehow I receive a late payment letter. I pay my late payment and again send in the required form via snail mail and somehow again receive the same letter. I call in again and ask to send in the form via email and I was told the only way I can send in the form is through snail mail. After sending in the form three times, making late payments each time, I continue to receive the late payment letter. I again call to alleviate this issue only be talked to rudely and get pasted off to another representative. After speaking with this rep., I end up getting a fax number to send the form in. I fax in the form and check, receive a fax confirmation, make another late payment and still again I receive a late payment letter. This bank is very unhelpful and unwilling to help out a customer who is simply trying to pay his bill on time through auto pay. MB Financial would rather continue their practices and continue to make a Combat Wounded Veteran pay for unnecessary late payments because of their ignorance. Unfortunately for myself, I am at a position where I would have to pay more money to relocate my loan and I have no other option than to do business with MB Financial. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
