You don't often find mechanics with this level of knowledge and such mechanics don't always service with integrity. Over the course of several days Ron regularly and repeatedly went well out of his way to help my wife get her CLA250 back on the road. After a dealership on the Indiana side tried to absolutely rob her, I found Ron's shop and sent her there. What a godsend. Thanks a bunch Ron, we really appreciate all of your help! If you go anywhere else in the area for German service you will likely get ripped off. Save yourself the headache and go to Ron's shop. European & American Motor. If we weren't leaving the area I would drive the distance to have all of my vehicles serviced by Ron.

Ron and his team are awesome. I purchased a used Mini Cooper, wanted a second opinion. I have only owned Japanese cars in the past and have only used dealer maintenance for over a decade. My experience here was so much better than anything I had before. First of all the shop is very busy but they had accommodated my time crunch because they knew I had a short window I could return the car with a money back guarantee. Ron took the time to answer any questions I had, and went through the carfax with me explaining to my relief why certain things were good signs of previous owners. The one issues they did find is a very common problem based on my research on cars with my body style and far less miles, so I somewhat expected it to come up. The quote they gave me for all services rendered plus redoing the engine mount was, based on my research, a hell of a deal. Dont think the cheap price compared to the dealer means bad service though, the way Ron talked through the car and what he was seeing was way more in depth, had way more care, and way more expertise than any interaction with a service center I have had before. These guys are the real deal and Im super glad to have a maintenance team I can trust here in Chicago.

Ron is fair, thorough, and gets it! He provides you with the knowledge, you get the service you need, and not the extra the dealership tries to push on you. I would much rather support my local guy. Its great to know I have a guy! Thank you E&AMR for the great service!

Ron knows his stuff and will take the time to explain the details as well as your options. Very accommodating, straight-shooter, and all around great repair shop. Highly recommend.
