Benches on Division

I found Benches when I wanted to take metalsmithing classes to learn to make jewelry a couple years ago and have continued my education here since. I sometimes find class settings to be stressful and anxiety inducing, but not at Benches! Stephanie (super bright fun hair) the instructor is very knowledgeable about her craft, kind and empathetic in handling students questions and difficulties in any project, and just an extremely nice person. I wouldn't still be here after 2 years if it wasn't a supportive and kind atmosphere. I've grown in my abilities so much, and I highly recommend!

I take my nice watches here to get the Swiss service and waterproofing. $100 cheaper than sending to Movado. Good service every time I have been in. Have what Ill call an antique wristwatch with a challenging to find part. While I did not ultimately end up ordering, the shopkeeper, Jeremiah, went out of his way to find a source for replacing should I choose to in future which I really appreciated. Highly recommend.

I was quoted a price to get a gold chain fixed. A few days later, I got a text for double what I was quoted. Super trash! Never going back. For how long they took to fix it, just go somewhere else for jewelry repair services.
