Eugenie Terrace on the Park

The thing about climbing piles of * is that on the other side is just another pile. I signed a 12 month lease, and terminated the lease in 4 months. They have no air conditioning, and the pipes are all rusted and rattling. They have no laundry in unit so the laundry room is always jammed. They have no way to control engineering so complaints are responded to in a timely manner or at all. What they do have is a sad attempt at queen bee managers doing evening events. You want used condoms and disposable garbage falling on your head this is the place for you. This building is like cigarette smokers, we know exactly what is going to happen.

This building has the most incredible views, but it has a lot of issues. I have been here for years and have seen its ups and downs, but there have been many more downs than ups. Nonstop construction and deafening drilling throughout the day with many delays and no end in sight, major plumbing issues and regular water shut offs, major flooding resulting in building wide mold issues, and severe lack in communication from management as well as accommodation for all of these issues. This isn't a one time construction project, I have lived here through multiple cycles of various projects. The air conditioning is shut off too early in the year and turned on too late in the spring, leaving residents to swelter in their greenhouse apartments. Maintenance requests used to be taken care of quickly, but with the new management there are many delays in resolving issues. The new management company has totally changed this building and not for the better. In the past six months, they have fired a lot of long time staff here including two door men, Will and Ricky who had both been here for over 25 years. Buyers beware, the beautiful views come at a high cost. I no longer feel safe living in this building with the major pipe issues, sloping floors and cracks in the walls, and the termination of the long term doormen who knew all of the residents by name to be replaced with temps. You can find a much better building in the area for comparable cost. Read the reviews of long term residents instead of the reviews about the leasing process.

I had the pleasure of working with Cacey Gustovason at Eugenia on the Park. He answered all our questions, showed us all around the amenities , explained the details of renting there ALL in a professional, helpful and friendly way. As we all know, service today of any kind is hard to come by, Casey provided SUPERIOR service and is a part of us developing a positive feel for the property. He is a real plus fot the building. Beyond Casey, we are impressed with the units themselves, the views, the common areas, services available, and amazing location.
