I had a fantastic year living at AMLI 900 as a college student with two roommates. The leasing and security staff were very helpful and kind, and the building was always very clean. Plenty of fun building events like free pizza, flowers, etc. Any maintenance requests I filed would be attended to same-day, and maintenance staff was always helpful too. Neighbors were nice and I never had any complaints about noise or smoking. Amenities are great, especially the rooftop and the gym. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and had excellent views of the lake. Would definitely recommend others to live here, great first apartment experience!

Awesome community, top notch amenities, and the staff are all kind, professional and strive to create a fun, friendly atmosphere. The location can't be beat, either. Can't think of a thing I'd change. Super happy with our experience at Amli 900!

The title of "Luxury High Rise" does not fit the building. Though the common areas are tidy and clean, they do not appear to have been updated since the mid 2010's. The appliances in the units are very cheap and barely get the job accomplished. Amli does not reward long term tenants by offering to upgrade any appliances during your lease. The $250 price tag for a "covered" but still exposed to the elements parking garage is steep. The garage gates are either broken or do not stop thieves from breaking into vehicles quarterly. When asked if the leasing office would upgrade the security after the fourth break in, they replied, "No, thats simply one of the risks you take while living in an urban setting." The leasing office constantly has new employees. It is difficult to make a relationship with anyone in the leasing office. The amenities are decent. The rooftop lounge is amazing. The gym is serviceable. Dry cleaning and a business center on site are a plus. The maintenance team is extremely prompt and willing to do whatever it takes to fix your issue. The leasing office community manager doesn't really seem to care about the community that extends past the building property lines. When asked for assistance dealing with chronic parking violators, the response was, "Thats a city issue." The building will shut off the water for eight hour increments at least once a month.During this time you are not able to use any appliance (that you pay for) that requires water. Yes, that includes toilets, sinks, showers and dishwasher. Pets run ramped all throughout the community. Dogs are not leashed and frequently use the bathroom inside the elevators. Though we are not on a pet floor, our neighbors pet barks for hours on end. When asked if the leasing office could mention it to the tenant, we were told, "Its not during quiet hours." Over the last year at least one elevator is always down. Maintenance will not put the service elevator in rotation while elevators are down. Though there are 4 elevators, its likely only 2 are available at once. Lezlie, the weekday front desk employee is the only saving grace for this property. She is beyond amazing, knows how to welcome you home and always willing to build a connection.
