    I had an okay experience living here. As others have said, the elevators are an issue, but they are currently being redone so hopefully that isn't a problem soon. Multiple times I paid for laundry and the machine I chose didn't work, and there wasn't a sign up or anything - I always got reimbursed, it was more annoying than anything. I did have cockroaches multiple times despite the apartment being treated. Heat/ac doesn't say the temp so it's either too hot or too cold until you find the perfect spot on the dial (until the temperature outside changes, then you have to do it again!) For the price of rent, the appliances should be updated. I decided to end my lease early due to moving states for a new job; I wish the communication would've been faster but it was a holiday weekend so I understand. Jordan was always helpful with my questions and overall a great building manager, but PPM as a company, eh. They love to throw on a TON of extra fees when you end your lease early (even if you find them a new tenant to take over immediately). I also had to pay the full month of utilities despite not living there the full last month - I tried reaching out multiple times and just got ignored, I'm not trying to ruin my credit so I just sucked it up and paid it. Just make sure you read your extremely long lease VERY thoroughly so you're not thrown off! Shoutout to the maintenance team for always being very fast, and Robert and Tiffany at the front door are awesome too.

    Do not move into this building if you have a fear of elevators or getting stuck on them. All three elevators were broken the day I moved in causing my move to be delayed hours. Months later I actually got stuck on one of the elevators for 30 minutes with a large group of people. I also had to walk down the 28 flights of stairs multiple times when all three elevators were broken time and time again. They were getting stuck so much at one point that a tenant went door to door, sliding a petition under everyone's doors to get the elevators replaced (clearly they were not). To top it all off, when moving out of this building, my movers got stuck on the elevator for over 30 minutes - then my couch was stuck in the elevator for 2 hours. We had to wait hours for the engineer to come fix it, causing us to be delayed for hours again. The engineer told me while we were on the elevator that the building's elevators were so unsafe and old that it had been almost 10 years since they had actually been inspected properly. My movers (understandably) charged me double for the move and I was told by management that I would be reimbursed for this. I ended up being ghosted by management (Danny Walters) after calling and emailing him many times and was never reimbursed after being promised I would be. One positive thing that I will say is that the managementof the specific building (Jordan) and the front door staff were nice about the whole situation. However, the main reason I chose to move out of this building is the elevators - don't want anyone else to have to experience this.

    Wouldnt recommend. They charge taxes (on top of rent + utility package), the elevators go down, and units are drastically overpriced. Jordan is amazing though - the company just sucks.

    Jordan has done an great job managing 1133 N Dearborn. The building has had issues with the elevator malfunction which clearly are not his fault and he has mitigated the problem well. He is prompt to respond to emails and calls. It is clear to the residents that be has cultivated a positive working experience for his staff!
