Dr. Feiteng Su MD

We have had a great experience with Dr. Su. He asks questions and truly listens to you. I appreciate that the appointments don't take forever. We drive an hour to see him and have no plans on changing Dr's.

I voluntarily came for overnight observation dealing with adjustment disorder. Dr Su found it appropriate to document I had two serious mental illnesses. Look at the several other reviewers quickly diagnosed. He loves diagnosing everyone as bipolar. Do your best to find another doc who will listen instead of label you with his favorite 2 diagnoses.

I went for my first visit and he diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 20 minutes so after I thought about it overnight, that didn't sit well with me. I went for my follow up 2 weeks later and challenged his diagnosis. He didn't like that and stated how he is the expert, he has been doing this a long time and knows better than anyone in the area (he doesn't like Carle). He never tried to assuage my concerns but instead chose to just tell me he was right. This doctor has all the bedside manners of a bed pan. He should not be practicing medicine or psychiatry. Period.

It's taken a lot of courage for me to finally say this. When I first became a patient for Dr. Su, I told him about the past medications that I had been on that had been helping me for a good 2 to 3 years. He completely ignored all of that, diagnosed me with bipolar disorder, and then took me off of my old medications. He then put me on new ones that didn't work whatsoever. I later found out that he diagnoses literally everyone with bipolar, he's just lucky that he was right about me. That being said, he never listened to me, never listened when I told him that the meds weren't working, and I left after realizing that he was not going to listen to me. All this guy cares about is money and prescribing people with stuff that they don't need. He doesn't listen to his patients at all, and frankly shouldn't be in the practice at all if he's not going to be a good psychiatrist because he's a terrible one at that. He should have never become a psychiatrist if he wasn't going to listen to his patients.
