Christie Clinic Convenient Care on Windsor

Arrived at 5:45 pm on December 26, 2023 and called the posted number. Waited 35 minutes in my car, and they never did call.

I love Christie for my primary care provider! But the immediate care experience was not only disappointing, but also demeaning. Staff spoke loudly and sarcastically about patients. While waiting for my test results I heard them refer to me as Ms. Covid in the hallway while simultaneously declaring the test was negative. Staff were aggressive and rushed despite me trying to be polite and keep my answers short and sweet. I know our healthcare workers are exposed to people who treat them horribly everyday, so I try to be polite and respectful of their time, its too bad that its not a two way street for their patients. I heard them joke meanly about other staff and patients in the hallway which made me uncomfortable. The statement on the cabinets in the rooms about providing empathy and care to patients adds to the sting. I was interrupted and given a snarky remark when answering their questions during the screening and all it did was prove they werent even listening :c For your own sake, go elsewhere for convenient care. The cold and uncomfortable experience I had was starkly the opposite of every other experience Ive had at Christie, I was caught off gaurd. The doctor was kind while telling me I was negative for both test results which was nice? But didnt take away from all of the unprofessional conversations I was privy to hearing. I almost felt like asking if they could change my preferred name to Ms. Covid just to let them know I overheard but it doesnt seem like they would even be able to understand why this could make someone feel uncomfortable. I love Christie for all of their other services, but do yourself and loved ones a favor and go elsewhere for convenient care.

Went on October 23rd and the doctor said I had an upper respiratory infection a week and a half later Im still sick and much worst. Went to a different convenient care and they did chest xray and I have severe pneumonia. Would not recommend and will for sure never go back there.
