Overall, I would say it's a 3.5 hotel depending on what price you pay. If it's less than $125, 4 star perhaps. Location is very good with lots of Asian restaurants on the same block. Parking garage is next to hotel and connected with keycards. Room AC was very loud and pillows were awful. Everything else is basic. Service and cleanliness was good.

Did not get any service for 4 days, not even trash taken out, not even when it was left outside the door for more than a day. Asked the reception to figure it out - they said they got it but no. A room for 4 only had one bed and one set of bedsheets - asked for more and never received any.

When we got to the parking garage, we crossed an alley at night to get to the hotel. There was a lot of activity outside. Someone had to open the doors for us to the hotel because they were locked then. We went to our room, and the room looked lovely. The shower was nice and roomy. I left for the ice machine to get some ice, but it didn't work. I used my key card to enter the room, but the sensor on the door fell off. In disbelief, we called the front desk. We explained what happened, and the clerk said something about the technician coming tomorrow. No, we need it fixed tonight! Someone came and just slid it back on. We checked the sensor after he left, and it just popped off. OMG! It was easy to slide back on, but how is that safe? We didn't feel secure that night. Needless to say, we won't be returning for another stay!
Nearby activities: There was a liquor store/ bar across the street. We heard people speaking loudly. We only wanted to get to our room and go to sleep.
Safety: We didn't feel safe because the parking garage for the hotel was not connected to the hotel. We had to walk through the garage, get on an elevator, and go to the first floor. Then, walk across an alley to get to the hotel. We were on high alert.
