Kroger Pharmacy

Understaffed and no way to contact them without entering the store. Window is closed, no one answers a phone.

You can’t get a single person to answer the phone. I am trying to switch pharmacies, and my new pharmacy can’t even reach them. Your wait in line is minimum an hour anymore, there are no accommodations for people, usually at the door as soon as you walk in. They don’t return messages left on voicemail. I understand that they are short staffed but these are peoples lives and medications we are dealing with.

So yesterday, Kroger pharmacy was closed with the note below. Today, the line is over an hour wait! With no regard for senior citizens and their health, some can not even stand in line, and the drive-thru is closed! Kroger Rx needs help badly!! Everyone in line was talking about switching pharmacies!

Horrible. Just horrible. If negative stars were allowed I'd give them a -5. Minimum 30 minutes up to hour+ waits in line at your "scheduled pick up time" only to find out your medication is not ready and to come back in 30 minutes (always 30 minutes). Go back to the back of the line, an hour or so later now they're out of your medication and somehow it's your fault. Come back in a few DAYS. Depending on the day, either no or inadequate seating for people on line many of whom are elderly, disabled or are otherwise uncomfortable standing for long periods of time. Unbelievable that they create this abysmal situation and don't even provide minimal reasonable accommodation for the people left waiting. Unfriendly, sometimes outright belligerent staff who I can only assume were already unpleasant to deal with and now overworked to the point of yelling at and insulting customers. Every problem is not their fault. Every time! No drive thru. Very limited hours. Sometimes closed during posted hours, no explanation. I had one prescription my insurance doesn't cover sent here because of the lower advertised GoodRX price (which is apparently not valid in this store for some arcane reason I am supposed to understand via eye rolling and waving to the next person in line). I went in person (since nobody ever answers the phone) and tried to have it transferred to my usual pharmacy with no success. I tried asking my usual pharmacy to request the transfer but they were also unsuccessful (since nobody ever answers the phone). Their insanely, horrendously bad practices mean I've been stuck dealing with them and there are no polite words to tell you exactly how I feel about that. I FINALLY managed to pick up my last refill on this prescription yesterday afternoon after a few failed attempts. FREE AT LAST!! TL;dr: It's really, really bad.
