I went for a cleaning and the dentist said I needed scaling and a cap over an old filling. They were wrong on my insurance coverage, so I was stuck with an $800 bill for the scaling with no anesthetic.
I decided to get a second opinion on the cap. The dentist was incredulous that I had paid for scaling because it looked like a regular cleaning. She had to redo the scalingfor much less than $800and with anesthesia. She also drilled and replaced my old filling without a new cap.
Overall, this is a very expensive clinic with questionable competence. So much so that its just one step above filing a complaint with the state. The dentist was nice. I liked him, so Im not going to jack him up.
