Berry did such a great job selling my Moms house she was unable to do it alone I am 2 states away he kept me informed all through the selling process. I doubt another realtor could do close to the same job.

Seldom does a handshake mean more then contract, but with Berry McCracken his bond is his word. This is exactly the type of realtor and man he is. After the death of my brother who lived in Kankakee, and me living in Champaign trying to handle his estate, I found how important it is to be able to rely on someone while in a state of shock. Berry led me with a friends guiding hand even though we really didn't know each other very well, other then he was the realtor for the buyer of my parents property some years before. In fact without a written contract in hand he told me that if I was ready he would find a buyer for me in short order. I told him that I wasn't just looking for a buyer that met my price, but someone who would appreciate my need to bring the nearly 100 year old house to a new standard to begin it's next 100 years. I have to say it was the most difficult and at the same time, rewarding thing I'd ever done, and I needed him to understand that. Not only did he, but when he brought the person he felt met those standards just prior to me completing the home he called to tell me he felt sure he found them. I happened to come by while he was with them for their first look see and had to meet them. After a short time I knew Berry met this difficult task head on and I knew I could rest easy. So, is Berry McCracken the guy you'd you'd want to trust your family too? Well, let's just say I couldn't have asked for more.
