If you're looking for a doctor with good listening skills...she's not the one for you this review is based on 4 consecutive visits. I've been going to Dr. Asima Hussani for more than a year. Second visit I noticed that she likes to speak over me, which means she doesn't like to listen and "hear" her patients . I was getting prepared to have plastic surgery back in August 2021, I brought a form & test that needed to be completed 2 weeks before my preop appt with my miami plastic surgeon. Dr. Hussain appeared to me to have an attitude about me having plastic surgery (which is not her place), she half listened to what i clearly explained what was on the paperwork, half read the paperwork that was given to her that explained the test that I needed done...spoke over me saying she knew what needed to be done...this resulted in me making a second appt...to have her schedule the appropriate test needed before I left for Miami for my surgery. Another situation involves the covid vaccination. I was spooked after I had my 1st does...because my son told me tht coins were sticking to ppl who got it & he stuck a quarter to my injection site, it didn't fall off, not even when I jumped up & down...I emailed Dr. Hussani about it...I had an upcoming appt later tht week so I would ask her about tht situation during my visit. She fast talked me, told me it didn't happen ....who tells there patients that they didn't experience something that THEY EXPERIENCED!! Most recently, I emailed Dr. Hussani about a ringworm...explained in the email & the visit that I had been scratching before I noticed what it really was & that it had spread. During my visit...of course she fast talked me. I showed her the original ringworm and the rash that had spread to my arms & some on my leg...she told me the rash wasn't a ringworm and what was a ringworm had healed...which was good to know...she still prescribed me an antifungal creme for the rash....which is also good precautions .BUT....when I mentioned that under my eyes had been itching too (scared that I may have spread this unidentified rash near my eyes...the question I asked....was is it safe to put this cream under my eyes...OF COURSE SHE 1/2 LISTENED.. .seeming irritated by me having a question...she cut me off and said I can't put it in my eye (which wasn't what I asked) and went further telling me I need to see an eye doctor....I took a breathe and repeated the question "am I able to put the creme you prescribed under my eye?" Finally she answered yes. When I left her office I scheduled an appt with a dermatologist ...because I need someone to care about what I have going on as well as what I have to say. She needs to get her listening skills together. A degree doesn't mean your above your patients....and that's how she's made me feel on several accounts

I've been going to Dr. Hussaini for about 5 years now, and even bring my parents to see her from Lombard and Oak Lawn! She is an amazing physician who truly demonstrates care and takes extra time to answer any questions I might have. She also introduced me to additional steps I can take to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She also gives a lot of tips to teach me how to be proactive about my health.

If I could lower the rating to no starts that wouldn't be enough. I've had Dr. Hussani as a doctor for about 1 year. Everytime I go into the office I feel like my voice is never heard. It's always her voice that overrides mine. I try and tell her my symptoms and she ignores them completely. I am diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and Fibromyalgia, and I am still unfamiliar with everything that goes along with it. I am not a person who easily complains or writes reviews on others but my last visit with Dr. Hussani had me fumming with anger at the rude, arrogant, unethical behavior she showed towards me. I will make sure my voice is heard this time. I would not recommend this doctor on my worst enemy.
