Relatively new hotel and close to I-55 highway. Went for an event in their banquet hall. Good service and clean place.

Checked in (1.5 hr process) under Diamond points. Immediately upon entering in my blue collar work clothes after a long day, you could see an immediate shift in demeanor in the front desk clerk. What should have been a simple check in took 1.5hrs of back and forth. When my fiance spoke with the Hilton Honors associate they did not understand what the confusion was, they agreed that the desk clerk had all of the information that she needed for a smooth check in. When my fiance asked to speak to the front desk clerk, I put him on speaker and the clerk grabbed her water cup and walked completely away from the desk to the dining room. Once FINALLY checked in, the room has some sort of stains on the bathroom wall between toilet and mirror and the bathtub would not change from bath to shower. When I went to put my cap on the table I smelled bug spray and noticed ants all over the table. The gentleman that came to treat the and fix the shower when spraying near the baseboards said there were quite a bit of foods crumbs in the carpet . He apologized and retrieved a vacuum and thoroughly vacuumed the room before fixing the shower. I stayed the 3 days we had booked and then moved to another hotel. The desk clerk upon check in really does not need to be in customer service.
Noteworthy details: Poor customer service at desk.
Ants in room from unvacuumed floors.
Stains on bathroom walls.
Malfunctioning shower.
