We have been caring for 5 siblings since March 2023. The supervisor has been the same; Rhonda Thompson. The case worker has changed. We are now on the 3rd; however, it's been weeks since the last one left and we STILL don't know who the new case worker is. RHONDA has ignored repeated messages for all those weeks.
We have FIVE small children in our care. No way to contact ANYONE. Our home is 4 hours away from Belleville, so we can't just drop by.
The children are precious. They deserve much better treatment from this state agency.
There is a
Case manager, Carolyn, however, we do not have her contact information.
Isn't this neglect? Abandonment? I am simply disgusted.
This is our tax dollars at work?? These people are presumably protection these innocent and helpless children? Another business would be shut down.

This office will lie to you and screw you over in a heartbeat. They are very unorganized and only care about getting children in homes no matter the cost to the foster guardians. They explain nothing. They change rates and announce rule/policy changes without notice. You will get the whole, oh I thought so and so told you. They mess up the paperwork and hope no one will notice so you do not get what you are owed for caring for these wonderful children or even enough to help care for them. They barely answer calls on their work cells or they will just straight up ignore you. God forbid there ever be an emergency because you will be on your own to figure it out. If you have the choice, go to a different office. This one does not know what they are doing whatsoever and they truly do not care for the children or the fosters. If you do not have the choice, call them out right away on the lies they tell and do not be afraid to get a lawyer. It is a true shame that these children have to be brought into the middle of these situations in order for anything to be done or to get any answers at all. These children have been through enough without having to deal with the scammers at this office. Shame on you Belleville DCFS

I'm confused where is the child support office now located?? There isn't anything online that's updated! Please help someone! Lol
