image The security guard was kind and greeted patrons in a personable way, including myself. I thought he was excellent at his job.
The office itself was unhelpful. I am POA for my mom, and wanted to verify a document she received. They had no information for me and could give no account for the official letter I had in hand. Neither could they help me locate tax information I need for filing my moms tax return. The staff was courteous enough but whatever constraints are place on them render them unable to provide any meaningful help.

image Visited this location in Belleville yesterday on behalf of my son whom is profoundly DEAF. My son uses hearing aids which does allow him some level of hearing but not to all voice types. He mainly hear more deep or high pitched tones of voices such as male voices but not too deep and high pitched female voices. The woman at the counter was very rude by telling me I wont allow my son to answer her questions without asking the most important question(s) such as: Does your son hear well enough to understand my questions, does he need an interpreter, does he read lips well, or ask him if he gives her permission to speak with me in regards to his caseNOPE! She was VERY rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. I am my sons MOTHER and ADVOCATE until he chooses otherwise. I asked to speak with her supervisor and little did I know, she was sitting right next to her at the next window. This is the second time Ive had an issue with this woman; once over the phone and again in-person on yesterday. Ive never had a good experience at this office and prefer not to go back there. This will be the last time my son is disrespected by here as I will go over her head and report her again, only this time in hopes that she learns to be a better person from it
Thank You,
Mother of that Deaf Young Man

image This place is useless. My younger sister went in to get a replacement SS number cause all of her cards/info got burned in a house fire. She's been trying for months/a year+. She can't get a ID without a SS card but can't get a SS card without photo ID. We've played phone tag, we've gone to multiple different places and they are ALL useless. When at the counter the lady running the front desk kept trying to make my father seem like he was freaking out when he was not. He was just STANDING there. He leans on the counter because he has back issues and she was made aware of that. (She kept making comments like , please step back sir, please make room, get away from the counter). Even moving past that she was no help. When asked what to do to be able to get a card she literally rolled her eyes and shrugged it off and said she didn't know. Do NOT go here.
