        This has been my bank for many years, even having an auto loan through them. I am now looking for a new bank. I religiously place orders for our groceries/household needs through walmart.com every week and it has made my life so much easier. That was until this week when my payment method would not process on the ap. I tried everything, double checking my account balance and not understanding why suddenly it would not work. I spent hours on this issue. I even called Walmart customer service because I thought it was them. So, after Walmart said my bank blocked the transaction, I contacted the bank. FCCU is no longer allowing purchases on walmart.com due to TOO MUCH FRAUD they had going on there. It has nothing to do with me personally, but it 100% affects me! Not only did the bank FAIL to notify its customers of this problem, they also have NO IDEA when it will be resolved. I set up my account originally in a branch LOCATED INSIDE A WALMART!!!!!!!! What a joke! How is that good customer service. How about a solution for the customer?? Just not their problem....Well, I guess losing me as a customer isn't their problem either. PATHETIC!!!!!

      I apologize you are having this issue with our debit card, and understand how frustrated you must be in the process, especially since so many of our branches are located within Walmart. I spoke with the AVP in Electronic Services, who oversees all debit card transactions. She explained there's been unrelenting fraud through Walmart.com and the app due to how their checkout system is processed. Because of this, there's been an increase in fraud associated with our member's accounts and other financial institutions.We believe it is in our and our member's best interest to not enable debit card transactions on Walmart.com and the app at this time. Please know that we understand how annoying this is and check the site every few days to see if Walmart has updated its checkout process. In the meantime, we do have a workaround so you may use your debit card. In the checkout process, pay via PayPal and load your First Community Debit Card on your PayPal account. PayPal is a more secure way of paying, and we haven't seen fraud if you checkout with this method. Please feel free to reach us at [email protected] if you need more assistance.
