Dr. Rosen is not only a skilled and experienced surgeon, he treats the entire patient. I felt he was in touch with my emotional, physical and overall well being as his patient. His attention to detail and well placed and appropriate humor helped me through what could have been a difficult time. He is accessible and I felt respected and that he really cared about my current and ongoing situation. A true asset to the Advocate System and blessing in my life.

This office is awesome. I call them to see if Dr Rosen would take me on as a patient after a terrible experience with my other surgeon office. Dr Rosen himself called me that evening tell me he would be happy to see me and I had an appointment the following week. At that consult he was so great explaining my cancer diagnosis and made me feel so much better cause I felt he actually cared and I was not just any patient. I would recommend him to anyone that has breast cancer . My surgery was smooth from the time I got there to time I left his whole team took great care of me. Great job you deserve the 5 stars

Dr. Barry Rosen is a friendly, exceptional doctor who directs a caring, competent office. After my routine mammogram diagnosed breast cancer, he returned my initial call himself within 24 hrs, discussed my situation and explained what to expect. He provided referrals to other medical staff and encouraged me to contact him directly without hesitation for any concerns. Throughout, I was offered prompt appts and always seen on time. At our first meeting, after examination, Dr Rosen completely explained all treatment options and surgical expectations. He gave understandable answers which calmed my fear and provided much needed reassurance. The surgery required Dr. Rosen to coordinate with two other physicians, yet all went just as he predicted, and the results were excellent. Dr Rosen is an excellent surgeon and a really kind individual.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer can understand the fear of the unknown that immediately takes over your thoughts. I was referred to Dr. Rosen by my dermatologist, and within an hour Dr. Rosen was contacting me. He immediately put my mind at ease and spent an hour of his personal time, on a holiday weekend no less, to explain my medical situation clearly in terms that a layman could understand. He then went on to lay out the game plan for my care which included several other issues and doctors. Through it all, Dr. Rosen took charge and handled all communications between the different doctors. In his own words, he was my "Team Quarterback!" From those first encounters until my post surgery check up, I have found Dr. Rosen to be a surgeon of extreme competence and intelligence, and even more importantly, a human who cares deeply for his patients. I have received the best possible care in every facet of this journey. Every nurse and office staff member I have dealt with in his practice have been equally helpful, kind, and compassionate as well. I will be forever grateful that my path was led to Dr. Barry Rosen.

I didn't have an appt with him but because of the pain I was having, he and his team were able to accommodate me last minute. He was very professional and caring. He was not rushing and explained to me the entire procedure. Just the fact that he gave me his personal cell number in case I have questions after the procedure made me feel at ease. Highly recommend Dr Rosen.
