Makray Memorial Golf Club

Very nice course. Play from the right tees, most holes plays longer than it seems. Greens are very punishing for a public course! Probably the fastest I have played in the Chicago land. Tee placements are odd sometimes! Driving range needs exact change and is expensive. Overall a good course for the money. Great venue for after the round drinks and seen many weddings hosted here as well

Restaurant service was very good and the food above average but then the unthinkable. Our bill came, tipped over 20%, but they changed and increased the total when submitting to our credit card company. Long time customer but are done here. Dishonesty crosses the line.

Have been wanting to try this place for the fish fry for years , finally got to last night , and boy was I disappointed. The server was horrible, sat down and had to ask twice for silverware , our entrees came out while we were eating our appetizers and soup , I and my friend had the all you can eat fish fry which was dry , have had alot of fish frys and this wasnt even in the top 5 . My wife had the talapia and it was very fishy which it never is supposed to be . Our server never asked if we wanted more of the all you can eat fish and to top it off , we had a desert that was a snickers pie that when we dug into it the crust which was oreo cookie had cinnamon in it , tasted horrible, and the menu said nothing about this dish, having cinnamon in it. Bottom line dinner was very disappointing to say the least , All the hype of this restaurant and its famous fish fry , very disappointing and I will not be going back .
