Great experience. I was shocked to see they still have a bathtub!!! Very nostalgic!

This was my first time at a build a bear. (I am 38 with 3 kids) The way it has been talked about I was expecting....more. Not like Disney magic but a little 4th of July sparkler at least. I thought it was to be more of an experience as well as building the bear. We walked in, and my 2 toddlers picked what "bear" they wanted. As my first time, i assumed this is what you were supposed to do because there were only 2 employees, one at the register and one violating Mr. Pooh Bear with stuffing. We then got in a line facing the large stuffing machine. And apparently, it takes a bit of time to stuff these animals, so this was not a short line inside a tiny store. It all seemed to be the normal process, but it felt like something was missing... the sparkle. And maybe some new or cleaned up equipment where children are supposed to be able to go to brush and pretend to wash their new favorite stuffed animal.

Do NOT have your childs birthday party here! They do not have a separate area or even a table to place things on. The store was very busy during the party so it was difficult for the kids to move around and pick out their bears. I tried to hand out cupcakes and an employee screamed saying try dont allow food in the store. The kids ended up eating their cupcakes and opening gifts in the hallway of the mall. Horrible experience.
