One of these people was a part-time office assistant—his daughter, Linda Pilmer. Linda attended Aurora University, where she earned her degree in accounting. She went on to earn her real estate sales license and broker’s license, becoming a successful agent and manager in the process. When Marv retired in the mid ’90s she took over the reins of the company and kept it in the family. It was important to her to uphold the standards her father set down, but also set a new pace and expanding the company’s horizons.
