Im sorry but I called to schedule a follow up appt for my husband as he was seen in the ER. The lady said next available wasnt til February ! When I questioned it she didnt even have any emotions, it was basically you get what you. Im mind blown because from working at doctors offices no matter if its a new patient or existing an ER follow up appt was usually scheduled 2-3 days or a week after the ER visit.

I am so happy I found Dr. Huang! I have had kidney stone issues for years and he has helped me a lot. He takes the time to listen and has a very caring way.

He may be a very good subspecialist, but for me (kidney stones), he was too quick to make inferences about me and my condition based on presentation of symptoms. And quick to tell me what I feel is not usual so felt dismissed and unheard. I understand that getting into a specialist tends to take a long time and I was grateful to be seen quickly, however, my symptoms were a clear indication of my condition. After another CT, I was dismissed as a patient as he felt the treatment he could offer me for my condition or symptoms could only be at a 35-40% possibility of resolution, if any at all for some of it. This is the second doctor from RUSH that I have been very disappointed with. If the emphasis for these specialist doctors is to research and publish, then they are not practicing. Patients ought to be your research. And if you are only interested in one subtype of your specialty, state that up front and don't waste your patient's time and money, as well as your own. I am trying to be sympathetic to the doctors affiliated with the medical system of RUSH (I love my primary) but the last two years has been extremely disheartening and disappointing with other RUSH doctors.
