1st Family Dental

I do not recommend 1st Family Dental at Arlington. My son and I went to this clinic. At first we had misunderstandings, after each visit we were billed strangely and told about a problem with insurance. Together with an employee of the clinic, we contacted the insurance company and it turned out that there were no problems. Every time I paid the bills, and the clinic employees were jealous that everything was fine. 7 months after my last visit they called and said I owed $470. This is explained by the fact that they incorrectly calculated the services provided and did not receive funds from the insurance company. The insurance company for its part covered everything. Such actions are illegal. Stay away from this clinic.

I had a cleaning with Honey and I couldnt believe how gentle and easy she made the process for me. She made me feel welcome and she genuinely cared about my well-being. She was beyond amazing made sure I was comfortable and pain-free!! Her work was very thorough, her knowledge and passion for her work really made this place stand out 12/10 Beyond amazing Miss Honey is the best!!

Had an awesome experience the few times our family was there for dental work. Dr. Omari is amazing with kids. Highly recommended!

Honey was the best hygienist Ive ever had! She talked me through everything that was going on and the reasoning behind it. She took her time to explain when I was confused and was also very personable and relatable from the start. Always a great experience, especially today!

If I could give 0 stars I would after me and my family have been with them 10 plus years. Started off at Elgin and changed to Arlington Heights. Receptionists at this office are all great. Somy daughter and I came in. turned out she had an infection and had to get a shot to numb her mouth. As most kids are scared, so was my daughter. As to my knowledge adults are scared of the dentist so what do you expect from a child.My daughter was mostly talking out her feeling and crying here and there nothing hysterical. We werent there for more than 10 minutes after she got an xray. As my daughter was scared to get a shot you would think the assistant or dentist would say things to comfort her but no. The woman bulged her eyes at my daughter and only repeatedly told her to calm down we have patients in the other rooms Dentist was saying similar things. He didnt even sit down next to her but instead told us he wont be able to do anything and asked us to leave. I said what about the infection? He said her tooth would fall and the infection will clear on its own. I calmly said thank you for nothing. Walked towards the reception, at this point my daughter is confused and starts blaming herself, I said no they are just very rude. We leave and I get a call from the office manager. Which I could write a paragraph on just her but shes not worth it. She basically calls me to tell me I recommend you take your daughter to a pediatric dentist and that your daughter isnt 5 to act like that, shes 9. The dentist and assistant didnt show patience for the patient at all. Most importantly didnt even care to try. The office manager, does not have any customer service skills and is extremely rude. I can basically do another review of that nonsense phone call of hers. Bottom line theyre refusing my daughter as a patient. Which after that joke of a visit and unprofessional manager. I can care less. Neither my daughter or are family will ever be back to this place or any other location for that matter.
