(changed this from 1 to 2 stars after they got back to me right away and refunded me). Their products cannot 'fully' be trusted. I received my first order, which was missing items. More concerning is their misleading marketing of being "organic". For example, I assumed their Wild Boar Sticks met the standards they preach across their website but learned that they contain MANY artificial ingredients and chemicals. I have to throw them out now. AND I don't think I can trust the rest of the items I ordered. Being in both the food and supplement industry I know that they can easily be sued for false advertising of organics. I hope they decide to revise their marketing and at least list the ingredients.

Love their elk meat. The shipping is easy and the meat is great quality. Plus it always comes quickly.

Very disappointed ordered on Dec 13 for Christmas gift, Dec 22 was told shipping was going to be delayed by 2-3 days due to high volume, called on Dec 28 told items will ship this week, Jan 5 email that orders now delayed 3-4 weeks, Jan 23 order shipped, Jan 26, items being sent back to sender due to incorrect address, my info is correct and was varified with blackwing via phone incorrect address was put on shipment somehow. Feb 7 requested refund

Took a deer here for processing and it was the single most expensive processed venison of my life. When I called for the price was quoted one price, but when I came in to pick it up, it was $135 higher. They had forgotten to include the processing price in with all the other charges for a deer +$400!!! This wasn't a case where you pay for quality either! The quality is just okay, and not at all justifying the price. I only came here because GotDeerDown smokehouse didn't have their trailer pickup this year. I won't be back. The venison sticks and summer sausage are sub-par. This seemed like amateur-hour. All together I could have bought half a hog and all the cuts for cheaper. Not good at all. I literally would have driven to Rockford to avoid this, and even with the high cost of gas, 2 round trips would have been cheaper and better quality cuts, grinds and sausage
