I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I came here after leaving lake forest peds. I wanted something closer to me which this place is 3 minutes away from me. At first, everything was ok until I was visiting immediate care or ER more after my kids sick visits. The last straw for me was when my son had RSV and pneumonia. I came in for a sick visit. I vividly remember that day because he had 102 fever and was complaining his chest was hurting. They told me it was just allergies, which seems to be a common answer for them. My mom intuition told me it was not " just allergies" and I took him to a very packed ER with lots of people sick with Covid to find out that my son had RSV and pneumonia. That was the day I switched. Today, I received a collection letter from them regarding an unpaid balance, but I never got any statements. Billing called me back and the last time my kids were there was June 11 of 2022, I haven't heard from children's medical group after that appointment nor did I receive any statements. According to the lady, I talked to for billing they send out 4 statements before they put you in collections. I'm not good at math, but if I received 4 statements in 2022, I should have been sent to collections back in October/ November of 2022 but I didn't. And almost 2 years later I get a collection letter from children's medical group saying that they're going to send me to collections over $20 that I did not know I owed. I was able to pay that unpaid balance today but I think I should send them my co-pays I had to pay for all the immediate care and ER visits after visiting this practice. Save your time and money and insurance money and find another practice because this practice should be shut down for all the neglect that they do towards kids that end up in the ER Because they failed to do their job here.

We've been going to CMG since my oldest was a year old (he is now a teenager).  Always loved the practice, but lately they've been slipping.  Receptionists are rude and definitely not on the ball.  Even the nurses don't always know what their doing (which is scary).  And Heather is the worst. She will make you feel like you are a worthless parent. Not friendly at all! I'd recommend not taking your children there and if you do, make sure you ALWAYS pick up their immunization records (don't have them mailed as you never know who will get them).

I am so disappointed with this practice. My family and I went on vacation and my son got sick. When we came home it had been 8 days of him being sick so we took him into the pediatricians office. We typically see Dr. Jyaden but had to see Heather due to it being a sick visit. I explained to her that my son had a runny nose, fever, eye boogers, coughing and sneezing. She checked his lungs, ears, etc. and proceeds to tell me that he sounds perfect and it's just symptoms of teething. I told her I didnt think so but she assured me it was teeth. The next day my husband took my son to urgent care and they tested him. he came back positive for the flu and with his chest x ray ended up having extremely severe bacterial pneumonia as well. The urgent care told us they were shocked our pediatrician sent us home. I have been trying to call CMG for 6 days to try and express my concerns to Dr. Jyaden and have left 4 VMs, none of which have been returned. This practice is completely unprofessional and when it comes down to it doesnt care about their patients they are only working for a paycheck. Im warning you DO NOT go here.
