SERVPRO of Lombard/Addison

I live in a house that I rent from a property management company. After 1/3 dead poplar trees, each standing 100' tall, fell onto the neighbors property, narrowly missing their home, I called the property management (out of state big business type) so they could send someone out to assess the damages. They sent Ron Chuman from SERVPRO. He was professional and direct. I explained to him that my concern was with the other (2) dead trees still standing. I further explained that I have been trying to get this particular management property to take down these three trees for the past 2 years and I am met with nothing but resistance and excuses. He told me not to worry - he saw the problem and he would make sure that the company would see the risk. I'm a big proponent of doing what you say you are going to do. He went above and beyond that...he under-promised and overdelivered. Within a week, a work order was processed and the trees were removed. The crew did a great job and cleaned up all evidence they were even there. Ron got something done in a week that I couldn't get done in two years. I would highly recommend Ron and the staff at this particular SERVPRO. It's nice to know there are still people who conduct business with integrity and pride. Well done, Ron.

On 10/25/21, we woke up to 3” + in our basement, which has never happened before. After realizing I was fighting a losing battle and the water wasn’t going down, I called my insurance company, State Farm and asked if they worked with ServPro? You were on their list of companies approved to work with and I knew of your reputation. I called and spoke to Ron and explained my situation. Although they were busy on several jobs, they came out, started to handle the water, found the issue, which was a burnt out pump in our second sump. This was replaced that evening as well and they made sure the water receded. All drying equipment and dehumidifiers were put in place that evening as well. Ron has followed up with me multiple times, checking in on the drying process, removing the equipment. His crew removed anything that needed to be immediately. Later, other items I went through needed to be picked up. Ron and all crew members have been respectful and understanding. Ron has been working with my insurance company and continues to guide me through this process. I have been pleasantly surprised, that in spite of the unpleasant circumstances, this company does what it says it will do! Thank you Ron for your honesty with furniture I did not need to lose and willingness to go the extra mile for me. I would recommend you and ServPro to any of my friends or family. ANDREW AND ABEL WERE MY TECHNICIANS WHO CAME OUT TO DEAL WITH A MOLD ISSUE. THEY WERE BOTH VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE. THEY EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AND DID THE NECESSARY WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. Worked closely with the Team lead Jake to eliminate the sewage from my basement. This crew worked diligently and efficiently to remove walls, furniture, and all other contents out of the basement. At one point, because of the amount of rain we were having, the basement started flooding again. This crew reacted as if it was there own basement. Cant thank them enough! Service: Sewage cleanup

John and his crew were amazing. I had a huge sewage backup into my basement. I made the mistake of calling “the other guys” on someone’s recommendation , and I now realize I should have just called Servepro. After almost two weeks of trying to clean my basement, the other guys just couldn’t get it clean. It still smelled like sewage and there was still wet insulation in the walls. I finally called Servepro Lombard after two separate family members recommended them. John came and checked it out, made a plan, and immediately brought in his crew. They found the problem (wet insulation) and sprayed their disinfectant. They used special fans and dehumidifiers. John came back a few times to touch things up and make sure I was happy with the cleanup. He made recommendations about keeping the basement dry and even patched up a leaky dryer duct he located. Tonight I went down into my basement and... no smell! It’s clean and dry and I am so relieved after such an ordeal. So glad they were able to help out. Thank you John and crew!!!
