Went to look for organic milk. Owner is an ABSOLUTE tool. Disrespectful. Wierd. Cows look miserable. Nothing special about this place. Cloverleaf in Buhl 100% way to go.

Website is outdated. They are no longer an organic, happy cow place. It's just another overcrowded smelly filthy casually managed dairy, one of the worst I have seen. This website needs to be taken down!

Business Response on Google Sep 2nd, 2023
It is unfortunate that your party chose to illegally trespass on private property without contacting the business before entry. Prior communication would have benefited your efforts to find where organic milk is sold; all dairies (and any business for that matter, including Cloverleaf dairy) do not allow unauthorized persons onto production facilities without prior consent. It is a concern of safety for all persons and animals involved. One such example warranting this concern would be when your party rammed your vehicle into the side of a stationary, parked tractor on said private property. Thankfully our employees were standing several yards away from the parked tractor and did not sustain injury, but this certainly is cause for concern for all involved. It is unfortunate that the rear of your vehicle sustained damage due to the driver's error, and thus might have created heightened emotions in your party during the situation. The side of our stationary tractor sustained some damage; but at this time, in goodwill, we are not seeking retribution or claims of damage with your party. We thought all was cleared up well with the Sheriff Department, however, it looks like someone has decided to share a few unfounded opinions and emotions regarding this organic family dairy. As mentioned earlier, we would have gladly directed you to the nearest locations where you could buy our organic milk, if someone in the party had contacted us via email or phone. That also would have prevented some confusion and these unfortunate circumstances. As for unfounded comments about the ownership and animal husbandry, it is unfortunate that your party decided that personal jabs in a public forum were a beneficial route to go. Everybody at this dairy does their best to work towards helpful conflict resolution and be amicable with anybody they encounter, including this circumstance. As for the dairy, we frequently have a plethora of outside sources validate and complement the well being of our cows and how we run the dairy. Harmony Organic Dairy LLC is scrutinized by several auditors, veterinarians, and third-party organizations that validate the standards that we abide by and much of the time go beyond. To name a few... certified organic standards, Validus animal welfare standards, Non-gmo project verification, BTU grade inspections, nutrient and water management, Idaho State Department of Ag, Oregon Tilth Organic Certification, and the list goes on and on. We pass these intense VOLUNTARY inspections with high regard because our mission is to honor the gifts and well being of these cows to the highest level. That's why we let our beautiful bovines fine dine on nutritious, high-quality pasture (please visit any other dairy in the valley). That is also why we subject ourselves to these voluntary inspections. If our cows could talk they'd tell you that it is because of our rigorous standards of husbandry and care that they are the happiest girls around. If a cow is in misery it is addressed immediately and effectively by our dedicated team. All of us stewards at Harmony Organic Dairy have put our blood, sweat, and tears into the fostering of this land, water, soil, cattle, and the innumerable creatures above and below – that's why you'll received a lengthy response as such when the name and practices we abide by are called into question. The team here wishes you well, and hopes this clears things up. Peace be with you and yours.
