Because of a bad past experience with a color appointment I no longer use this location for anything but products. I find that unfortunate but I only have one head of hair and cant risk it. I do hope the Institute has changed their policies and that the Instructors are paying more attention to these eager young students.
With that said, I went in for product. The woman at the desk stood up, not typical, and came around to assist me. She was very knowledgeable and courteous.

I've tried several times now and it's not the students fault but the instructors have been rude and treat me like I don't know what I want done with my hair between the student n I we try to explain it and they turn it around saying they know what I want and it isn't that and that I will like it when it's done so far I haven't and it hasn't gotten better after a few days or weeks still don't like it still not what I asked for!!!

My name is Claire and I've been going to Aveda School since they open. I had my Husband start getting his hair & beard cut at Aveda since we are both on Social Security and if you go there on certain days the prices are a better deal, cost wise.
Especially during the the economy now days, every savings helos.
I used to get my hair dyed and I was always happy with excellent work of the Students. I feel, It's a win win for me and students.
Matter of fact, I've never had a issue with any of the Students work. They are all professionals. If there is any questions, the Instructors are there to help, explain and guide the Students. I definitely recommend Aveda. I have tried other Hair Schools in the Magic Valley area and always return to Aveda.
It's a great day getting haircuts and then going to Costco for a hotdogs.
