Talus Rock Retreat

What a gem! Found this oasis on a last-minute booking site after a very long day on the road. Stunning, intimate setting unlike any lodging I've ever seen. Lovely staff who called me by name, beautiful grounds, and super comfortable room. Very quiet and serene--drank wine and watched the wildlife by the pond. This place is stunning! Rooms: Huge room with comfy king bed. Copper sink and deep bathtub. Beautifully decorated. Food & drinks: Honor bar downstairs was well-stocked with wine and beer and snacks to tempt you to sit on the great room and watch the wildlife out in the yard. Hot coffee and continental breakfast ready in the morning with farm fresh boiled eggs. Noteworthy details: Stunning home with quite the backstory!

Such an amazingly beautiful relaxing retreat! The hosts are great and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. This retreat is quiet and comfortable. The jacuzzi was very nice as well. Rooms: We had a beautiful room. The bed was a firm memory foam bed which was what we needed! We had a great view of the grounds. Nearby activities: Less than 10 minutes from downtown Sandpoint. Different kinds of restaurants and stores.

Our second visit. They offer a destination retreat type experience. It is a short drive to Sandpoint for meals if you don't want to cook. Google Sandpoint for activities and Sweitzer for skiing.

The attention to detail is second to none. Truly the owners were inspired to create something very unique for their visitors. Their love for serving others outside this this hotel is also very evident in the pictures and art spread though out the building. May the LORD bless you and keep and make his face shine upon you and grant you peace!
