The Lodge - BYU-I Approved Housing

The lodge was good, but not a place I would justify at their price point, The apartment had tons of issues, it felt like I was going in every single week to the office to submit maintenance requests. The bedrooms were also super small for 2 people. It felt like I had no space. They also tried to boot me even though I had a permit to park at the complex. The apartment complex however was good about letting me live with my ESA and good about doing repairs. Also when I moved in the apartment was super dirty, and looked as if no one had come in to clean it for the new residents.

If you want to be always underwhelmed and disappointed in how much money you spend on rent, this is the place for you. Read all the other negative reviews and expect them to be accurate. The only reason I have ever lived here is to be with friends and have never liked living here. I have never once had a positive interaction with the management, they always have had a better than you attitude, and NOTHING will ever be their fault. Maintenance is severely under qualified and nothing ever gets fixed. Their clean checks don't actually happen which leads to the apartments being dirty when you move in(I moved in and found someone's pubes shaved in the sink and mold all over the shower). The overall culture and atmosphere of the place reflects the attitude from management and maintenance. If you move here(please dont) expect to loose your money and be screwed over big time. The parking garage is also not lit well enough to see causing some issues when trying to navigate. How they get away with it blows my mind. The maintenance guy Ammon told me to leave a negative review, which goes to show the quality of people they have working here. The only good thing I can say about this place is they have a comfortable mattress. I literally cannot find anything else positive or that would make me want to come back.

I've lived all over and this place is actually the nicest place I've lived. However, the management is unbelievably incompetent. If your roommates are slobs, don't expect clean checks to change anything because they will pass anything even if it is noticably disgusting. They ignore requests for repairs and don't answer the phone. The Internet is the worst I've seen in Rexburg. They won't let you move out early without paying $85. They're actually being unreasonable so they can take more of your money. At one point I couldn't shower for 3 days because they wouldn't fix the water heater.

Its a great place, the staff is very welcoming. Its a great environment.
