I took the Idaho Enhanced Concealed carry class through Ryan and it was excellent! I grumbled at taking a 2 day class when my husband told me about it, I was dreading how boring I expected the class room portion to be and boy was I wrong! The entire course is very interactive, lots of talk of different scenarios, interesting videos, guest speakers, lots of dry fire practice prior to going to the range, techniques like clearing malfunctions and different shooting scenarios during dry fire and on the hot range. (another new term I learned) I was anything but bored. Prior to the class I felt comfortable with my gun and had a lot of time shooting with my husband, but I learned a lot and felt so much more comfortable with being able to conceal carry. I was one of two females in our class and I never felt awkward or uncomfortable, I was practicing all the same techniques as the guys. (and frankly think I may have out shot a few of them, ha!) I cant recommend this course enough to anyone, male or female. Take the two day course, the amount of knowledge you get in this course compared to the single day is well worth it!

Ryan is great at what he does. A group of us took his Idaho Enhanced CCW Class and were very impressed. Weather you are a newer shooter or thing you have plenty of experience, like I thought I did, this glass is going to teach you lots of things that make you a more responsible and safe firearms owner. I would highly recommend Dynamic Defense to anyone that is wanting true knowledge about firearms!!

I've taken several classes with Ryan at Dynamic Defense including First Steps Pistol, Idaho Enhanced 50 State CCW, and my Range Safety Officer NRA certification. I've also received one on one training with pistol and rifle for real life defencive situations. Ryan takes a realistic approach to training; enacting real life situations, using stress inoculation, and creating a dynamic lesson that is different every time for top quality training to become proficient in firearms usage and ready to face a deadly threat if ever to occur. Ryan has casses that are perfect for anyone from beginner lever to advanced firearms users that want to train incorporating movement, stress inoculation, and advanced target recognition and learning how to respond appropriately and quickly in a stressful and confusing situation. I highly recommend Ryan at Dynamic Defense! Worth the money and more!
