The main reason BCG Excavating & Construction gets 5 stars is because Walter listens. We had an idea to enclose our front porch and Walter met with us to go over it with us. After some calculations, we decided to screen in the porch add a portico over new stairs and create a small patio under the porchs overhang. These design details were Walters idea and we are thrilled with the outcome of our screened in porch. In addition to the porch, we talked to Walter and Hannah about a patio at the back of our house. We had a balcony that was useless and 3 sliding doors in the bedrooms that opened to the balcony. Walter designed a patio cover, replaced the sliders with windows (our choice) and it came out great!! Start to finish both projects took some time, partly because we changed the patio design from an elevated patio to removing the balcony altogether and having one cover extend the length of the house. The crew that worked on our projects were punctual, professional and considerate of our property. With most construction projects, there are misunderstandings or issues with design; however, we did not experience any major problem with BCG. We will continue to hire Walter whenever we plan additional remodeling.

I can not say enough good about Walter and the crew. During the process of remodeling my dad had 2 major heart attacks which put a stop to the renovation. The crew still showed up every day even on weekends to help ease the stress and have the house put back together with quality work while my family was at the hospital. Having a trustworthy contractor is hard to find but having a contractor that will treat you like family is even harder! Walt was the only contractor willing to take on our project of taking an 80 year old barn and turning it into a home. He went above and beyond and now I consider him a friend. Cant go wrong putting your project in Walters hands Service: General construction
