Dr Djerns was the friendliest, most outgoing neuerologist Ive ever had. He always to the time to explain my options. I always looked forward to my visits.

This amazing doctor has been Compassionate kind and very thorough with my 90-year old mother.. very pleased with him and grateful for his care .. he also cared for my father and my brother who had Down Syndrome.. very fortunate to have had him as a doctor for my family .

I am blown away by this office. My mother in law has dementia and lost her driving privileges because the Dr sent in a DMV retest request and she could not even read the book to understand the questions so she never took the test and lost her license.that was in Dec of 2018 that was fine and totally understandable. fast forward to January 20th 2020 she is much much worse and has now anger issue and this is very common with people with Dementia. The Dr's office called to confirm an appointment she had to re see him and she told them off that she did not trust him and did not ever want to see him. Hey she is crazy but it is the Dementia . Well Monday the 27th we got her a new appointment for the 28th I took time off work and never knew about the conversation the prior week nor did I know the office called her the same day the appointment was made and told her they would not see her ever again. Remember she has Dementia and after she was off the phone she had zero clue of who called or what the call was about. Well I show up at 3:15 for her appointment on the 28th and learn they will no longer see her because of what she said the prior week. Come on she has Dementia and has no clue what is going on and he is a Neurologist and should know this is how these people act. To turn her away is very upsetting and very unprofessional and zero compassion for a dementia patient. I am at a loss at how they can do this being in the business. I would never recommend anyone to see this heartless Dr.

Dr. Djernes refuses to take me as a new patient. I have a cognitive disorder as a result of a car crash and require follow up with a neurologist. I am new to my current medical insurance and had previously been sen regularly by a neurologist for over 3 years. He declined my referral and recommended I be seen in pain management. My referral was not for any pain. I have come to the conclusion that he has not read my referral. My referral clearly stated my need for follow up because of my cognitive disorder. I have a 27 page neuropsych report which demonstrates my cognitive disorder. My neuropsych exam was performed at Loma Linda University Medical Center, which is where Dr. Djernes received his education, including his internship and residency. I am in disbelief and shock that he feels pain management can manage my neurologic care. I have no complaints of pain. I am at a loss. There are so few neurologists in the Treasure Valley area and none are taking new patients. Dr. Djernes was listed as the only neurologist taking new patients.
