Super glad we decided to move elsewhere we almost moved here but after seeing 9+ people talking about being charged an arm and leg just for moving out (which is already expensive) we decided against it. this property needs to get their affairs in order and stop trying to take advantage of their tenants to make a quick buck.

I'll start with the positive. The complex has decent amenities such as the pool, dog park, and clubhouse. And while we had some good experiences with certain employees at Maxx, the overall experience was disappointing to say the least. First, the building itself was poorly built. You can hear every word your neighbors say when they are talking at a normal volume. So basically no noise deadening between the units. Second, they will take every penny they can from your deposit. They kept almost our entire deposit, most of it being from normal wear and tear. On top of that, in the lease it states that you will have to pay their legal fees if taken to court. Which is an easy way to keep someone from suing them when they already took all your money for a year. Do NOT live here. Edit to add: after emailing them to ask why so much was withheld from our deposit, I have heard nothing back.

*edit to address the response posted by company*- we were in constant vontact with the authorities and our lawyer for the last few months we lived there. The police had to come out to talk to our neighbors several times and your company was aware of that while it was going on. Any property overseen by MaxxPM is one to stay away from. They are unable to provide their residents with young children a safe environment. Even after being made aware of their residents recording into people's homes, and assaulting young children, they still allowed it to continue for at least a month. They also were aware of residents video-recording other residents (my family), then editing those videos to make it look like we were doing something wrong, and used those edited videos as "proof" to make us pay several hefty fines. Once I was able to get the accountant to admit in writing that she wasn't sure the videos were accurate, we were still not given the money we had paid back. This is not a family friendly company, and their properties are not safe for children.

I can agree with most other reviews here, MAXX PM is a terrible property management company to work with. Our community manager was great and we got most questions answered quickly. However, maintenance was always slow to respond and they never fixed issues properly but rather for the least amount of money possible. The move out experience was terrible and they will absolutely nickel and dime you in order to keep as much of your deposit as possible. I wouldn't recommend these units especially with them continuing to raise prices while the valley is dropping in price again. When you move out, they make everything difficult and even gave us the wrong paint codes and then charged us to redo the paint. While the units are nicer and a good size, I cannot recommend this company after my experience.
