Costco Tire Shop is the best. Took advantage on one of their continuous salesthis time it was for Bridgestone snow tires in early December. Website said tires would be available in 5-10 days and installation was 2 weeks out and snow was on the way. On a whim I stopped by and found the tires in stock and was told they could squeeze me in. Left the car and got a call 3 hours later. Costco here in Idaho has a snow tire package$50 to swap out winter tires for original tires and rebalance in spring. Each tire was placed in a nice big plastic bag. Nice touch Costco. Bridgestone Blizzaks for $150 a tire was best price around by far!

What is the point of having a phone number if you never answer the phone. Also, if I have an appointment scheduled 2 weeks out why are walk-ins getting taken care of first. It does not take 5 hours to put new tires on... I wont be using the tire center again.

On Aug 4th, 2021, I booked an appointment at the Tire Center for a tire repair. Location: Meridian, 3403 W Chinden Blvd, Meridian, ID 83636 This tire center advertises that they do tire repair. It was a straightforward issue: one of my tires had a screw lodged in it and needed repairing. I appeared 20 min before the time scheduled and registered. After some time I was told this couldn't be fixed - which was obviously a ridiculous assessment. I asked them if they could put a new tire on and was told that wasn't possible either and was sent away. It became obvious that they just didn't want to do anything about it. No help or service was rendered at that appointment at all. The guy in charge was cold and rude. I had to drive off with a damaged tire. I went right away to a nearby shop called Tire Pros - they fixed the tire in less than 20 minutes for $30. It was handled as a totally standard issue, nothing special or complicated. It was a very ordinary tire repair. The Costco Tire Center at that location had obviously lied to me (assuming they are not totally incompetent and actually cannot repair tires as they claim). Whatever their actual motives were, they appear mightily dishonest and rude. I will never ever go to a Costco Tire Center anymore. I find these business practices shameful and despicable.
