I have been very impressed with my sons experience at Acton Academy. I have seen his school related anxiety greatly reduced due to the flexibility of their unique approach to learning. Each student is valued as an individual, with perspectives that are heard and respected. Decision making is a collaborative process, allowing the students to feel
a sense or responsibility and ownership over their education. My son has been given the encouragement and resources to pursue areas of particular interest to him. He has been made to feel that he has important gifts to contribute to the world. I think that is the greatest possible source of motivation for learning, and I appreciate that Acton has provided an environment in which confidence can grow.

My nephew attends this school and its been amazing to see him blossom. He was a kid who hated school, but Acton has a totally unique approach to learning. The kids have a VOICE, they can pursue their own interests while learning the curriculum, and they are very active in creating a positive, collaborative environment. If your child is someone who thinks outside the box and has struggled with the rigidity of rote learning, check out Acton. They will utilize your childs unique gifts in incredible ways!
