Bought 60+ bags of insulation with the expectation that we would get the machine rental free. Called in and the machine is out of commission. They wont do anything to compensate for the cost to rent a machine somewhere else, even though youre being sold that when you buy the product.

We went in 1 hour before closing on Friday night to ask about renting an aerator. We were told they had 2 available and we asked to reserve one. They said they didn't take reservations but if we showed up at open we would probably get one. We showed up 5 minutes before open. We were then told that both units were already reserved. This is the second time we have tried to rent from them. First time we got equipment that didn't work and had to be exchanged. Service both times was unfriendly and unhelpful. There will not be a third time.

Customer service was awful. I bought a propane heater online that said it was available instore. When my brother in law showed to pick it up, he was told it was on the truck but wouldn't be unloaded til the next day. The associates were asked if someone could go get the heater off the truck and they said it was too cold. When told the heater was needed to get a truck running, the manager suggested that "maybe you should winterize your truck." It's a brand new truck and a rental, but thanks for the snide suggestion. I have spent quite a lot of money at Home Depot over the last few years trying to remodel my house but I am tempted never again to patronize this particular store. They did help me buy propane over the phone, but the help fell apart when it came to helping me obtain the other more essential item.
