        I did not have a good experience. My understanding of the role of a Counselor is to help people, not hurt them. When you become biased, you no longer serve anyone. Now, a new counselor has to clean up your mess.

      As a health care professional, I am governed by many ethical requirements and guidelines.  I take these responsibilities very seriously and therefore strive to meet or exceed these standards by continuing my education and consulting with noted experts for a multitude of issues---including the counselor’s duty of confidentiality, informed consent, and promoting the best interests of child clients.  I also endeavor to treat all persons with understanding and respect---regardless of whether their outlook and motivations might deviate from my counseling goals.As a mental health care professional, I cannot ethically reveal information about any client without their guardian’s informed consent, without discussing the matter with my client, and without evaluating whether even consented disclosures might adversely affect the best interests of my client.  So for this reason, I can neither confirm nor deny whether any specific person was ever my client in response to your review.  I am always willing however, to discuss any questions and concerns someone might have with the actions I have chosen to take, as long as it does not violate any ethical boundaries for my clients.
