Very rude. I was told I have fibroids. I was given no other info on anything but being told you need a hysterectomy. So Im getting a Pap smear. Im crying. She says why are you upset? Geesh Im saying youre telling me I need to get a hysterectomy. So Im going to seek another obgyn who sees me as a human being. Not a number. Someone who is compassionate and has more experience with these issues. Beware ladies.

Dr McCrummen is an excellent practitioner!! She is very talented in procedures and knowledgeable!! I love how helpful she was in how to talk to my partner and helping me plan for the future in having a family. She is excellent!!! One suggestion for the office is to make sure to not send out impersonal blanket statement patient education. It felt confusing as I do not have cervical cancer but rather pre-cancerous benign cells which led to me having worry/fear that was unnecessary and honestly was insensitive. I understand the document was sent out to be psychoeducational, but rather it was an overall generalized and anxiety provoking document given to someone who has had to actually have colposcopys, and deal with cervical biopsies for almost 10 years. I was rather appalled at the very end when it spoke of prevention of cervical cancer vaccines (I already have irregular cells and have had all of my vaccines) and it speaks on invasive procedures as radiation, chemotherapy and radical hysterectomy. In my opinion it was not trauma informed for someone who has been dealing with this for almost 10 years and who wants to have a baby.

There is a lot to say and not enough time or words to do so, but being in the late stages of dying during my pregnancy was not on the list: Getting diagnosed with late stage cancer and the millions of red flags this doctor missed nearly cost me my life and child, and did cost me my ruptured spleen, not to mention the excrutiating pain that was all atributed to pregnancy. I just wish the red flags were taken more seriously espcially with my autoimmune history. Apologies go a long way. I never got one and was just written off; hands washed of the probelm patient with cancer- not even a care in the world to check in on me post pardom, just a never gunna deal with this one again attitude i guess. I wish it didnt come to this, and that this doc took the red flags more seriously and I wasnt written off with caring for myself post pardum.
