Super 8 by Wyndham Coeur d'Alene

My Wife and I were very unimpressed with this Super 8. We've stayed at several in the past that they exceeded our expectations, but this one did not. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights but checked out after 1 and went elsewhere. The room: Very small with a tiny TV (who has 32" tv's these days?), no closet (small 3' rack thing attached to the wall to hang a couple items), bathroom fan sounded like the bearings were missing) Sleep: We were placed near the rear entrance which was an issue as the door would 'BANG' closed when people were coming and going at all hours. Breakfast: Had a pancake maker which is probably the only thing resembling a hot breakfast. Not what I've experienced in that past at other Super 8 hotels.

The rooms were very clean but outdated. They looked straight out of the 70's. Other than that, my room was very comfortable. The bed was on the softer side and I loved that. No aches and pains the next morning. The shower uses soft water and water pressure was minimal but was fine overall. I would not hesitate to return as motel rates are much lower than surrounding hotels!

Nice clean rooms that smell good! Apollo was very cool at the front desk! A+!
