Don't ever do business with Blue Cross if you can avoid it. I would give it negative 5 stars if I could. After getting married, trying to add my wife to my plan was such a disaster. A plan mind you I was only on because I was told if my now wife got pregnant, it would be covered. Called multiple times, was told a different process each time, and was finally referred to one of their agents. He told us we needed to reapply for a new plan. During this time, my wife got pregnant so once the coverage was finally approved in their system and started, she was already pregnant. Her new monthly premium is three times what it was on her old Blue Cross plan. Went to the Dr. today for an appointment and we were told Blue Cross will not cover any expense related to her pregnancy because she was already pregnant before the coverage started and they consider it a pre-existing condition. This is a terrible, terrible corrupt company that will screw you over at any chance they get. Now we get to spend hours on the phone trying to see if there is anything we can do. If not, we will be paying a monthly premium that is a complete rip off and not be covered one bit!

They took random amounts of money out of my account, called to get refund and told I would be refunded and 45 days later. Nothing.

Hideout have type 2 diabetes and they won't cover my medication I'm going to go back to Mountain Health next year

I came here to leave a review and was not surprised AT ALL to see that they have over a dozen 1 star reviews already. Not even 1 review that gives them more than 1 star. It's a well deserved rating! I'm stuck with Blue Cross, not because I want to be, but because it's all I can afford. I enrolled in an access plan and the enrollment process is byzantine and outdated. Involving me printing an application and scanning it back in to email in to have it approved. Once I emailed it in, it said to allow for 3-5 days for processing. A woman on the phone said I'd be able to register for an online account after 48 hours. 10 days later, I am still unsuccessful at being able to login to any website. I did receive a bill saying that I need to make my first premium payment. After multiple failed attempts to pay over the phone, I finally got a person on the line who said that their system says I'm paid in full through the year 1753. After being on hold for 10-15 minutes, she transferred me back to the payment portal. The payment failed, disconnected me, and I still can't pay my bill.
