Durham School Services Boise

My boys have been riding the bus to and from school for about 4-5 years now. I've had 2 incidents with them. The first one was about 2 years ago involving my step son, he was being bullied.. punched kicked and kids calling him names. The bus driver didn't do anything about it, now I understand he can't do a lot because he's driving and the situation was eventually handled. The second was about a month ago, this substitute bus driver told my boys their stop wasn't on his route paper and told them to get off 3 blocks away, I live in garden city and it can be dangerous, if my boys didn't have a phone I would have had no idea where they were. I called about six times in 2 days and left voicemails with no response. Then I called again and finally got a response. The manager that answered let me say my peace on how irresponsible and reckless that is, and that our kids are in THEIR employees hands for a short amount of time. He assured me that he was going to speak to this employee, I'm not sure if he took my suggestion and suspended him. But this outcome could have landed a different way. I hope they're more careful in the hiring process and make the trading more about these kids.

Not sure where to start. The bus aide for bus 670 seems to have a general dislike for children. Every time they are running late she grabs my son and roughly yanks him to his seat. The driver will pull off before My son is strapped in. They are out here bussing autistic children and it's scary. It's not our kids fault if they're running late yet they seem to pay for it. I'm working with my son on using the handrail every time he gets on and off. He used it this morning but tripped and let go. I was right behind him to catch him and reminded him to use safe hands. Her response was to snatch him up by his jacket when he got up the steps. I'm telling you yall need to train these people better because they're going to catch me on the wrong day grabbing my child like that. The first bus tracker app never let me add my son. Same issue with this new app. I have been emailing and asking for help since Feb FIFTH! I am completely over this bus company.

This morning on 1/16/24 I was driving on Adams Street in garden City and it happens everyday in finally posting about it but bus drivers that take up the whole road and let kids on the bus is not right and not safe you need to retrain your damn driver's or they will get reported to the police I really don't care. So the legal thing and get rid of or retain your driver's or consequences will happen. You can see in my picture the door is clearly open with the lights on too. But professional at all.
