Hi, my name is Marty Hinnenkamp and I was a patient of Sandra Thompson's for at least a dozen years and maybe more. I have an implanted intrathecal pain pump and have had 15 spinal surgeries over the years. At the beginning of 2020 I was told that Sandra Thompson was reducing the oral medications I have taken for years for runaway pain, overall pain, etc and that she was cutting my intake by almost half. I had called several times and talked with P.A.'s and one had told me that it was a federal law and if I didn't like it to find a new doctor, another P.A. told me it was CDC or FDA rules? I finally had the opportunity to talk to Sandra Thompson and she said "my worker's compensation insurance told her it was either my pump or the oral medications and since I couldn't survive without the pump she chose the oral reduction" I called my worker's comp advocate and she contacted my provider and discovered that conversation never took place! After discovering that she had lied right to my face I lost all confidence and respect of her. I am flabbergasted to this day that someone who has such power over a patient wouldn't just take responsibility for her own actions? She was in charge and it was her decision . I then wrote a review saying that if you want a doctor who will look you right in the eyes and lie to you then doctor Thompson is your doctor. Doctor Thompson then contacted me and told me she was discharging me (fired me)because of "my abusive behavior" my abusive behavior????
Doctor Sandra Thompson states in her letter discharging me "the relationship between a medical provider and a patient requires compatibility, trust and mutual respect which has been broken" That is exactly what has happened I lost all trust in Sandra Thompson!
