image If you are looking for a new best friend or a guarantee that your appointment will occur exactly on time, perhaps look elsewhere.
If you are looking for an extremely competent surgeon who is highly regarded among the medical community and a team who will explain everything in advance in great detail, youve found the right place.
Not surprisingly, It takes a very unique individual to cut into a living human body and rummage around inside a terrifyingly complex and delicate landscape. When YOU happen to be that body, does it really matter if the surgeon gives you warm fuzzies in advance?
Ill take running late for appointments and an absence of rainbows and unicorns any day of the week, so long as I trust the surgeon to perform to an exceptionally high level once Im on the table.
With medical professionals in our immediate family, I continue to hear from every single one of them (not to mention nurses, radiologists, and other physicians) that Dr. Manning has the fewest complications and best outcomes, bar none, in the Treasue Valley.
That was certainly the case with my own fusion.
In the future, if I (or any of my family members) require any further spinal surgical interventions, we will 100% be returning to Dr. Manning, and his PAs Jeff and David, without hesitation.

image After back surgery, I am able to walk unlimited distance and stand without pain or numbness in my leg. Before, I couldnt walk more than a quarter mile or stand more than a couple of minutes.
Dr. Manning and his team were wonderful to work with. The cause of my back problems were carefully explained as well as suggestions for correcting them. I am glad I had back surgery. It has truly given me a new lease on life. My wife and I can now take walks together and I can enjoy my outdoor life. Thank you Dr. Manning and your team.

image Waste of time and money. Doctor is just after a quick buck. Doesn't care about patient health. Wants to push surgery and if you refuse he doesn't want anything to do with you. He doesn't listen to his patients health issues.

image Dr. was rude, did not have any compassion or show any care for how my wife was feeling. He was there for about five minutes and never asked my wife about anything. Just said do this and this then come back and see me in a year. You have the bones of a ninety year old, but never mind he didn't have the latest test info. Would never recommend him to anyone.

image My utmost gratitude goes to Dr. Manning and his staff! I am a middle-aged man that needs to work and enjoy staying active. I had an impinged nerve as a result from a bone spur and bulging disc. The pain in my arm and upper back was completely debilitating. The diagnosis and plan to have it taken care of- was well laid out by Dr. Manning. I was pain free immediately following the surgery and within a short time was back to doing what I love. Dr. Manning's reputation holds true- he is very professional and is fully vested into his patient's needs. I highly recommend him. Also, a shout out to his awesome PAs David and Jeff. Great team!
