So this is for the online fidelity investments, as you go through Google for certain searches such as banks that do immediate release of funds when you do online check deposits, I really like this feature for depositing checks through my mobile phone, so I figured I would get them a try, and see if they are true to their word or advertising, I looked through their site and it looks legit, I go ahead and deposit a check, and yes I read the fine print, and everything is going good until you get to the submit page and just as I was hitting the submit button, I see this brief text box stating 2-4 business days. I had just hit the button. As soon as I realized this I hit the on line chat, I get the virtual assistant foe about 5 min because she couldn't understand what cancel my deposit, or speak to real person, finally I get transfered to a rep, and explained to them what happened and they told me that the check was already posted to my account, and wo I should check with my bank, and proceeded to ask if I deposited the check through them or my bank, I was starting to regret ever clicking on this site, if i deposited the check through my bank why would I be talking to these people, and she said that until they figure out where it was they could do nothing. I ended that chat by this time about 10 min past, I hit the button again, got a rep by the name akex and explained the same thing, he also said it was already posted and funds would be available as soon as it cleared, and said that it could take up to 5 days depending on the kind of check it was. I told him I need the check canceled and I need the money by 3, he said that checks are usually posted by 4 pm, I asked him then why did you just tell me it has already been posted, he then Said he was going to put me on a brief hold so he could get a manager and he would be right back with me, I waited for 15 min and due to no activity I was signed out of my account, by this time it had been an hour. I got really upset and logged back in and got back on chat, waited for the virtual assistant to get confused and send me to a rep, where I was told there is nothing that they could do and I would have to wait 2-4 business days for the funds to be cleared. I asked them, why they advertise that they release funds immediately with all sorts if things mobile check deposits were one of them. I told them that they should be fined for false advertising and misleading promises, and they Saud with the holiday coming up could be postponed for another day.. this fidelity is a scam and should be fined for what they say and not do. How do you do that and get away with it. I'm going to see about filing a civil suit for this situation. I'm sure I'm nit the only one that has had this happen to and I hope this will bring more people forward and hopefully get these companies to stop misleading potential customers and the general curious individuals. I would not recommend this place for anything. ..

Desperately trying to get my money out of Fidelity since two month now. Only hear excuses how my check is getting "lost in the mail" and it's not their fault. I hope this is not another Lehman Brothers or Bear Stearns that goes south and customer funds are destroyed in the process.
In addition, they refuse to wire the money or allow me to withdraw it via ACAT or ACH which is a common practice. My offer to pick up the money at their branch got declined as well. Don't know much about them but I hope I am not victim of a massive fraud. Anyone else having the same issues?
