As a designer, I work with tons of contractors. I get to see the good the bad and the ugly from a 3rd party perspective. I have to say, with Kyle there is no down side. He is hands down one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, and I hope to continue to work with him on several projects in the future!

The biggest issue we had with Kyle was poor communication, especially in working with his subs. For example, the cabinetry finish he showed us wasn't what was installed and it caused heartburn on both sides to get it done as agreed, and the finish was never quite the same as he showed us. Second, the countertop installation wasn't level and the natural cracks were not sealed. An outside expert had to be called in to fix those issues. Also, we'd asked for slightly rounded corners on all sides, which didn't happen. We had the tabletop replaced on our breakfast nook. The support was replaced and the tabletop was installed over 2 inches higher than the original, which resulted in the built-in benches being too low. Kyle said the table could not be shortened because it would crack the quartzite. We hired a welder to shorten the support, which ended up great. Kyle ruined the wood floor in front of our refrigerator because he repeatedly pulled and pushed the fridge out, trying to rehook up the water. The floor is so badly bruised that it can't be refinished and must be replaced. My brand new stainless steel sink was badly scratched when the they cleaned their grout implements in it instead of using my old laundry room sink 20 steps away. Kyle had no comment other than he would try to fix it. There is no way to fix it. Doors were dinged up and scratched. Tape on the slate floor took off the top of the slate when pulled up. I love my custom cabinets (even though some don't quite close right and the pull holes were drilled for much larger pulls than I'd purchased, so others had to be ordered), and the tile backsplash, and my countertops, although the installer cut the soap dispenser too big and crooked and it was not installed with the gasket in the right place or sealed, so my countertop shows stains where water is leaking into it from that poorly cut hole. Kyle is a nice guy and he wants to do a good job, but be very specific about what you want and get it in writing and give him pictures and good luck.

Horn Building Company's attention to detail and integrity is unmatched! The owner and team truly care about the client and makes them feel valued. 10/10 would recommended to anyone for is remodeling, adding an addition or for any custom home building! They are trustworthy and incredibly family friendly, which can be hard to find in the construction industry.

What an amazing transformation, still cant believe how amazing the home looks after the remodel work provided by Kyle and his crew! His design ideas were amazing and more than we expected! Kyle with Restore Remodeling did such a fantastic job, the quality was unparalleled. We really enjoyed working with Kyle and the ease he brought to us in the process as he took care of every detail on the kitchen and bathroom remodel. He is brilliant when it comes to design yet very much listened to what we wanted. I told him my ideas and he listened well and also was able to offer more ideas to make the functionality of the space the most efficient it could be for our Airbnb. He really thinks through the details of the space and communicates how the remodeling process will go very well.
