The food was mediocre. The pizzas were good, but the main dishes were disappointing. Service and ambience excellent! Not going back again.

We ate here twice before the remodel and new menu, so we were very surprised by the change when we arrived! The menu is now much more authentic Italian and a more premium price tag. The location is stunning, but it was very busy and we ended up getting seated 10-15 minutes past our reservation time. We ordered bread, which was phenomenal, absolutely order that if you visit! It was fresh and served with nori butter and a generous amount of roasted garlic. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer, which were delicious and clearly made in-house, followed by a NY steak and the truffle pasta as our entrees. It was all good! Our waiter, whose name I don't remember but he had an Italian accent, was phenomenal. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and was very attentive and friendly! A great waiter. Unrelated to the quality of the food, location, and service, I personally don't think premium Italian fits the ambiance of resort pool and beach-front dining, or is what people crave while in Hawaii watching the sunset over the ocean...just my personal two cents! Before the menu had a complete overhaul, we would order Hawaiian pizza and a tropical drink, which made more sense for the location in my opinion. Alternatively, of course, local Hawaiian cuisine with fresh ingredients would be amazing. I'm sure Ferraro's incorporates that into their menu, though!

For a restaurant at a FourSeasons in this location, this is WAY below standard. The food is over price, and the service was initially terrible. The manager helped a lot at the end. Of course, the setting is one of the best in the world. However, it's a bit odd when someone says "aloha, here's your pasta."
