AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea

Amazing experience at this hotel that feels like a boutique resort right in the heart of Wailea. Staff was so attentive and accommodating. Breakfast service and quality was great. Not enough good things to say about our stay at the AC Marriott!

Had a nice two nights stay at AC Hotel Wailea. This is a pretty student hotel with some very thoughtful, touches. The pool area wow off the parking lot, has some magnificent views. Really nice pool with lounge chairs in Shallowater. The hot tub is very nice and you can look out over the ocean and mountain. The bar area is well sided as well, offering some great views. The room themselves were large, rather standard to AC specifications. Because we were titanium elite, they gave us an upgraded room with nice views of the distant ocean and mountains. Really appreciated that! Given our status with Marriott, we got two $10 credits to be used each day. You can use this towards breakfast, but I thought it was a bit pricey at $30. The buffet looks pretty standard, Fairfield Inn, however, it also includes some entres that you can pick from. I honestly felt like this was the one place where this hotel was phoning it in. We used the coupons in the gift shop, which was nice. You could also use it at the bar to get a couple of beers. All in all, it was a great stay. Going forward, If the price is significantly cheaper than the Marriott down at the beach, then I would stay here again.
